Cherish the Glow

Love Your Candle

Because every glow deserves a little TLC.

Your candle isn’t just décor—it’s an experience. A little care goes a long way in making every burn feel like a moment of pure indulgence. From the very first light to the final flicker, here’s how to keep your candle burning beautifully:

With our expert tips, you’ll become a candle care pro, unlocking the full potential of your favorite scents and creating a serene atmosphere in your home.

First burn matters

Allow the wax to melt fully to the edges of the vessel the first time you light it. This sets the “memory” of the candle, promoting an even burn, preventing tunneling, and giving you the longest possible enjoyment.

Trim to Perfection

Before each use, trim the wick to ¼ inch. A trimmed wick prevents smoke, keeps the flame steady, and extends your candle’s life. (Psst... our custom wick trimmers make it effortless.)

Set the stage

Always place your candle on a flat, heat-safe surface, away from drafts, fans, or flammable items. This ensures an even melt and protects your surroundings.

Out of reach, always!

Keep candles away from children and pets at all times. While beautiful, they’re not toys—curious hands and paws could be at risk.

Never unattended

Only burn candles when you’re present. Never leave a lit candle unattended, as it can pose a serious fire hazard.

Time It Right

Burn your candle for at least 2 hours (so the wax pools evenly) but never more than 4 hours at a time. Prolonged burns can overheat the vessel and affect the fragrance experience.

Let It Cool

Avoid moving your candle while lit or immediately after extinguishing. Hot wax can spill and cause burns or damage nearby surfaces.

Know when to say goodbye

Stop burning your candle when ¼ inch of wax remains. Continuing past this point can overheat the vessel and increase the risk of cracking or breakage.
