Activated charcoal has a reputation for being a trend ingredient, but in a cold process bar it is genuinely useful: a natural adsorbent that pulls impurities and excess oil from pores without the aggression of a chemical peel. The scent is woody and musky, something that smells more considered than most soaps allow themselves to be, with a depth that lingers in the steam rather than disappearing on contact. Fuller's Earth clay adds a second layer of detoxification, drawing out what charcoal misses. Goat milk keeps the whole formula from tipping into harsh, landing the bar exactly where it should: thorough and calm.

Best used two to three times per week on the face if you are targeting pores; daily for body. The lather will appear grey from the charcoal. That is normal. Rinse fully. Four to six weeks with a draining soap dish.
